The Au Pair program is a cultural exchange, not domestic employment: weekly hours are regulated by law in every country and the stated purpose is cultural immersion.
Au Pair and DemiPair differ in workload. An Au Pair works 25 to 45 hours a week depending on the country and earns more; a DemiPair works about half that and spends the rest of the day studying the language.
Living costs covered
Private room and full board provided by the family, so your stipend is free for savings or travel.
Language course included
In most destinations the family contributes toward your language school.
You choose the family
Profiles with photos, daily routine, children's ages and a video call first. No blind placements.
Local support network
A coordinator in your destination city and meetups with other Au Pairs nearby.
